Description
My entry to the C64 graphics compo at Datastorm 2012 
Won second place! *baffled*
Done in HiRes mode, which means that you have square pixels (not the "traditional 2x1 pixels), but are limited to only _two_ colors in each 8x8 block of pixels. The image the original size (320x200) in the corner.
This is my first try at C64 graphics, so there is a lot of errors that can be seen. I used Timanthes, which actually have a "oh my god, there is too many colors in this 8x8 block"-feature, but I was too stupid to use it
So I had to rely on my eyes... Which of course led to some "miscolored" pixels. I also made the mother dragon too big Hence the cutoff in the blue glow at some places. Oh well, first try 
It was fun!
Huge thanks goes to Quarryman that made a .prg out of this thing so it can run on a C64 Thank you!
Oh, and thanks to Response for pushing me to make an entry And giving it a title (which means Frost Child btw)

A brilliant first attempt at C64 graphics, just don't let it be your last!
It would perhaps have been possible to mask the artifacts caused by the two colours/char a bit better where they are most obvious (the child dragon's head is probably the most noticeable place), but still, great job! Looking forward to your next C64 picture, perhaps something for Solskogen?
